Physical Appearance

Siamese cats are known for their unusually large ears and beautiful baby blue, almond-shaped eyes. They have a sleek, slim figure that is accentuated by a short, silky coat. Siamese cats have a tubular body on long legs, a wedge-shaped head with large, triangular ears, and a long tail. Their coat comes in four colors: chocolate, seal, blue and lilac point. Siamese cats are known for having a pale body color with extremities that are much darker. They have what is known as a pointed coat, a light-colored background with darker points on the ears, mask, legs and tail. They weigh from 6 to 10 pounds.

Personality

Siamese cats are known as being outgoing and social. They rely heavily on human companionship. They are a born chatterbox, vocal with those around them. According to the Cat Fancier’s Association, their voice is legendary, and they speak with their voice and their body. Siamese cats have an acute intelligence, inquisitive personality and a loving nature. A Siamese cat is known for his willingness to play fetch and walk on a leash. They have a tendency to try and involve themselves in everything that their owner is doing.
